I managed to finish all translation work on Friday night so I could officially begin my holiday. I had a fun lazy day on Saturday: I knitted and watched videos the whole day. After the film Chocolat I just HAD to get some chocolate. I rummaged through the kitchen cupboards and found some white chocolate. Ahh...
Today was a busy day as I had to get everything ready for tomorrow. We have a small rented cottage in a beautiful seaside town. We've been there before, so hopefully Bettina doesn't mind the train journey too much. We'll be there for the whole week, so no posting until we get back.
Here are some entertaining links. This Bush video is a couple of years old, but it stills cracks me up every time. The Sloganizer is a fun tool to play with. Guess what it came up with when I typed in 'knitting'? Knitting is the sound of the future. So there you have it: click, click. Oh, and remember to take a look at what other people are typing in.
For your viewing pleasure, here is a royal flush I got this weekend.
Capital Casino again.
After the week's holiday I plan to post a proper update on knitting projects and casinos. The 6000 dollar win that I mentioned earlier has gone up to ten thousand and I've almost played it through. Let's hope everything goes smoothly when it's time to withdraw the money.
My holiday knitting project is Clapotis. I'm using Noro Kureyon, not the best option for a summer project, but my whole stash is pure wool. At least Clapotis will be something I want to wear early in the autumn.
