I truly feel sorry for the Texan. It's much easier to get used to the heat than it is to get used to the winter. (Of course this opinion is from a woman who grew up in a warm climate -- though not quite as warm as Texas.)

As for St. Brigid, I'm going to be ordering some Wool of the Andes from Knit Picks or Peruvian Highland Wool from Elann. I haven't quite made up my mind as to the color. I like the brown that's in the picture in the book. But I also like the deep purple. I don't know.


Ooh! I love St. Brigid. I might have to try that, too. (I've got the yarn, sheesh!)
